Sustainability Through Recycling
Volta Motorcycles was founded on the idea that the future of transportation shouldn’t come at the cost of unnecessary waste. Instead of allowing thousands of motorcycles and mopeds to end their lives in scrapyards, we give them a second life by transforming them into clean, electric machines. By repurposing existing frames and components, we reduce material waste while preserving the character and craftsmanship of the original bikes.
This approach allows us to build electric motorcycles more sustainably while keeping them affordable for riders. At Volta, recycling isn’t just part of the process—it’s a core principle that guides how we design, build, and think about the future of mobility.
Partnering Operations With The AMP Haus
From Conversions to Complete Products
Volta started in a garage, not a factory.
We built our name converting gas and pedal bikes into electric ones—cutting frames apart, testing motors, breaking components, and learning the hard way what actually works in the real world. That hands-on experience shaped how we think about what's important in electric mobility: durability, serviceability, and ease of ownership.
Over time, through work and feedback, one thing became clear. Conversions were teaching us how bikes should be built, not just how to modify them. Today, Volta is focused on designing and delivering complete electric mobility vehicles. Working with established manufacturing partners, Volta will produce complete platforms that meet our standards through refined component selection, geometry decisions, and real-world testing. Every Volta bike will reflect lessons learned from our conversion work: what fails first, what customers struggle to maintain, and what makes an electric bike more than a product, but a step towards a sustainable future.
This shift allows Volta to do what we do best—create reliable, well-considered electric bikes that are ready to ride, easy to own, and built for everyday use. It also allows us to scale, deliver consistent quality, and stand behind the products we put our name on.
Custom electric conversions, one-off builds, and hands-on service haven’t disappeared—they’ve simply found the right home. Those offerings now live exclusively at AMP HAUS, our retail and service partner built specifically for that kind of work. AMP HAUS continues to handle conversions, repairs, and in-person support, while Volta remains focused on product design, brand, and long-term product development. This separation isn’t a step away from our roots—it’s a refinement of them. Volta exists to build electric vehicles the right way. AMP HAUS exists to support riders who want something custom. Together, they form a complete electric ecosystem, with each brand doing what it does best.

Volta now exists to design and deliver complete electric bikes. Our focus is product development, manufacturing partnerships, and long-term reliability across a defined lineup. Every Volta will be built around one simple idea: electric transportation should be dependable, intuitive, and easy to live with.
From frame geometry to battery placement, each decision is made with serviceability, comfort, and longevity in mind. Products developed using real rider feedback—not just lab data. The result is electric vehicles that feel natural to ride, are straightforward to maintain, and make sense for everyday transportation, not just weekend novelty.
